Distilled Water
Distillation is an effective process for producing water with a distinct clarity, up to 98% free of sediments, metals and biological matter. It is a very low solids drinking water, and is ideal for steam irons, photography, batteries and humidifiers.
To make distilled water, we heat the artesian water from our protected source to high enough temperature to convert it to a vapor, which is then cooled to condense it back into a liquid form. Most of the minerals are left behind in the boiling chamber with the condensed water now virtually mineral-free.
Consumers who prefer Distilled Water:
- those on physician-prescribed diets (such as sodium-free diets)
- those who prefer to obtain minerals from other sources in their diet (e.g., from food or diet supplements such as vitamins)
- those who do not want fluoride in their drinking water
- those who prefer a very low solids (less than one mg/L) drinking water
